They were seemingly convinced that the story they have come up with will be able to convey the same emotional fervour which flicks like Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty have been able to do in the past. Shaandaar has been conceived by its makers as a fairy tale film of the kind Disney makes. KJO should give more chances to Karan Malhotra. Next Year Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will be released on Diwali 2016 with Shivaay. SOTY was completely crap and i have not seen KANK. I don’t have a problem with Rom Com Genre but he is overdoing it and now it is becoming repetitive.
Its high time Karan Johar should stop making Rom Coms. Only Agneepath and Brothers have Superstars. In the last 3 years Agneepath, Gippi, Bombay Talkies and Brothers are the movies which were not Rom Coms. GTPM, EMAET, 2 States, HSKD, HTP, YJHD and now Shaandaar. Alia is also a good actress but she should do movies outside the Dharma Camp. I think the movie will be a Hit but i am not sure about the content of this movie. I am surprised why Phantom agreed to produce this movie ? The movie is releasing on Dussehra. Karan is also investing his money on same kind of movies. Shahid is a good actor but he should do good movies. It is looking like a typical KJO Rom Com. I was excited for Shaandaar because of Vikas Bahl who has made movies like Chillar Party and Queen. How does censor pass this with U/A cert?… If censor passes this, plz make Grand Masti, kya super cool hai hum as U/A films too…!! Tumhare hath me Kabhi sticky Fevicol nahi aaya kya?”. Alia’s cheapness in shaandar will benefit it rather than shahid…!!.ġ1) see those dialogues of HSKD… ” tera dimaag to chhota hai aur WOH toh usse bhi chhota hai” … Becoz he also joined Ranbir,ranvver,varun who take credit of success hiding behind female lead’s cheapness in those films…!!. Ranvver singh came up wid solo film Kill Dil, N u all know it collected historic 25cr…!! Rofl.ġ0) only ROM-COM which was hit also due to male lead act was Jab we Met of shahid….!!…Īfter doing quality controlled film like Haider, i was expecting shaandar to b something like Queen…! But ALAS… Who wants to see wasted spoon-fed flop star-kid Ranbir?.!!.ĩ) and see ram-leela another rom-com type movie… Which was hit due to deepika…!!. That means male lead Sid cannot make a good ROM-COM hit with Dharma banner n huge marketing …!Ĩ) Tamasha will work(less chance) only due to Deepika like yjhd…!!. Chetan bhagat novel was also benifitting factor. Max people went to watch alia only… And not ugly Arjun…!!. Ppl said they r going only to watch shraddha… Shraddha n dharmesh entry got cheers but varun =no response…!!.Ĥ) a small Baby can tell 2 states was hit due to Alia. But many ppl said becoz of sun shatiya song, they watched it becoz shraddha looked good in it.!.
